FORST Christmas Beer – 2026 Edition

The 23rd limited edition of the 2-litre bottle of FORST Christmas beer combines Christmas tradition, sacred symbolism and the art of brewing in a masterfully crafted collector’s item.

At the centre of the decorative motif, designed by South Tyrolean artist Franz J. Platter in the in-house workshop ‘Werkstatt’l’, is the nativity scene featuring the Holy Family and the newborn Baby Jesus.

The simple yet solemn depiction draws attention to what truly matters: love, trust and a sense of protection.

The scene is encircled by a star whose rays brush against the buildings of the FORST brewery, thus creating a symbolic link between the Nativity and people’s everyday lives.

At the same time, the display pays tribute to St Francis of Assisi, the 800th anniversary of whose death will be marked in 2026 and who, with the first live nativity scene in 1223, gave rise to the tradition of the Christmas nativity scene.
